Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though. I'm setting this up initially for those of us who are experienced hikers and looking to do longer hikes with other like-minded LGBT folks. There are some great regular hiking groups, but none for gays and lesbians to do 10+ mile hikes and backpacking trips in a social setting. I'd love other people to lead hikes.
